The coat is durable. You know it the moment you put it on. Genuine sheep skin and real shearling wool. The stitching does not mess around. It has a moderate leather scent that will cool with wear.

It is very warm as one would expect. It is probably warmer then any other winter jacket I have ever owned.

The look is pretty darn good for a $300 Jacket of these materials. The belt seems aesthetically functional and clearly this jacket will break-in in a cool way with wear. The hand pockets feel a bit high but truly do look best there. The amount of lining seen at the hand area is just enough to keep you toasty warm without showing an overwhelming amount thus detracting from the look. The fur is lighter then the original stock photos but not much. You still know it is ginger.

The company really wants to make you happy.

I was concerned about the fit, but the reviews on here are correct--I'm 42R, 38" waist, and the medium fits very well. Another size wouldn't work.Overall, I like it. It's not as smooth as the lambskin jackets I have, but seems "authentic." Some sections are crinkly and I was initially worried it was some sort of faux leather. I doubt that, but I do think this will show wear over time. Other sections are rough and show that this is, indeed, made from animal skin. No two of these will be alike.

Looks just as shown in ad. i'm 5' 10" and 210 lbs. the xxl fits me fine.

this jacket does not taper towards the waist. made to bomber jacket specs.Well made and very warm. the leather is a nice brown and lining ginger. looks as is in the ad. i don't see anything fake in the leather or fur.

the lining is the other side of the outside leather so there's no inner lining to make pockets like in a motorcycle jacket. the outside pockets are attached to inside cloth compartments.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my husband. He loves coats and has many to choose from. He wears this all the time. The leather is thick and the lining is quality. He says it is nice and warm for the New England winters.

I am not a review guy, but I have tried (and returned) several Bombers over the last couple of years and have always been disappointed. I just wasn't going to spend $1500+ on a coat. I gave this one a last ditch attempt because it got good reviews. It arrived early and was packaged exceedingly well. The leather smell when I unboxed it was promising. The weight of the jacket was promising. I unzipped it - SOLID zipper, by the way - and tried it on. I'm 6' 220lbs with broad shoulders and to get something to fit my chest always gave me octopus length arms...I ordered an XXXL and was worried about the fit, but this was perfect! Chest - check. Sleeves - check! I have only worn it for a day, but so far I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED! If you're thinking, or wanting a good quality Bomber, you've found it. Hell...at less than $300 bucks, if it only lasts a year or two you win - but this seems well built!

This is an awesome jacket, made of fine quality materials. The stitching is well made and precise, and the zippers (front and sleeves) are solid and easy to open and close. The leather is supple, in a dark chocolate brown, not too stiff, not too soft. The shearling liner is very warm and comfortable. Perfect for northern, winter areas. It has two inside pockets with different size compartments. The size runs a bit small, so oder one size up from your usual for best fit. I've always wanted an RAF WWII vintage bomber jacket, but the ones I found were in the $600 range, or higher. This has all the details and authenticity of the classic, but at a much more affordable price. Treat yourself to a very functional and stylish piece of history. You won't regret it.
